Our Story

Gifts of Grace Studio is a stationery business that specialises in lifestyle stationery and curated designs for meaningful living.

It was born out of a passion for gifting others handcrafted paper goods, and an appreciation for quality printed designs.

We believe in creating intentional and mindful products for the modern home, shying away from seasonal prints and focusing on the longevity and timelessness of each design that we produce.

A big part of our brand ethos is to always extend grace to those in need — specifically the vulnerable and young in our local society. The charities that we have taken up are ones with causes that are close to our hearts, and we are constantly striving to find better and more sustainable ways to provide charitable aid for them.

Hey there! I'm Charis – the creator, designer, and illustrator behind the Gifts of Grace brand.

Formerly known as Gifts of Grace Design,  I started this business as a platform to create more meaningful gifts for others, with the brand name coined from the book of Romans 12 in the bible, “having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them”, and Charis, which in Greek means 'grace', leading to the eventual and current name Gifts of Grace Studio. 

I rebranded this business a while after we welcomed a baby boy into our home in late 2019 — it was then that I had been seeking a balance between work and motherhood, thus it became the perfect opportunity I needed to restructure my brand ethos and business model into one where I can pour all my energy into my love for design, and my little one.

On days when I'm not in my studio, you can find me chasing light somewhere around Singapore, working on a new DIY project, lounging at home with my dogs, or spending precious family time with my husband and son.
